First, I would just like to thank everyone who has taken the time to view my art.
I am a self taught artist that draws and paints images of beauty and the not so beautiful. At a very young age, I was always interested in drawing and coloring. In school I loved art. I believe in art and one should paint from the heart, from feelings and from experiences,.
I guess that is why I do not always do art that is main stream. I have a strong urge to do art that draws awareness to the less fortunate of the world. I know that is not what sells, but if I can help in my small way to bring a little peace to those in need then I will surely try . At a young age, I lost my sister to suicide, that made a huge impact on me and that was the beginning of my focus on what I like to call impact art, or awareness art.
