Born and raised in Massachusetts, I am a lifelong, naturally talented artist.   I attended Massachusetts College of Art in Boston, graduating in 1981 with a Bachelor's of Fine Arts in Illustration.   After many years of occasional free-lance work, and tiring of my 'day job', I became inspired to take up watercolor in earnest.   Enrolling at the Worcester Art Museum School, I studied under Bill Griffiths, first taking Watercolor, then, at his suggestion, his 'Color and Light' class.   Here I learned the technique of using the color tetrads, glazing, and...more
