I am an artist because I like to travel along my imagination, to explore inner visions. Whether I approach a blank surface with an idea in mind, or just make it up as I go, the journey to a finished piece of art is always a trip worth taking.
Like most of us I began drawing as a child. I took art classes all through school and earned a certificate in prepress and layout from college. Then, as they say, life happened and my focus became making money in traditional ways to support my family. With my kids now grown I have, in the last few years, revisited my passion for art and have been producing new works on a regular basis.
I usually work on paper and I have used (so far) colored pencils, ink, graphite and charcoal, chalk and oil pastels, watercolors, spray paint, colored markers and pens, acrylic paint and some unusual mediums such as correction fluid and shoe polish to create my art. Along with the prints and other items offered here on Fine Art America I also offer for sale the hand made originals of everything I create and share on this site. For my photography I use both film and digital cameras. Thank you for reading and I hope you enjoy my art.
