ABOUT DANITA COLE - ENCAUSTIC FINE ART PAINTER:
I have lived my life upon the Ocean. I am the daughter of a smuggler and grand daughter of a pirate. I raised both my sons aboard my sailboat and chose to paint instead of piracy...mostly.
As a member of the Ocean Artists Society, my work is about the Ocean, but also about helping those who are unable to experience the ocean visually. I paint what I see because I want to bring that into someones life, both visually and in a tactile way, even if they cannot see with their eyes. If I can breathe the whisper of a dream into someones life, I feel I have a worthwhile job and am blessed.
