Arizona born and raised in Colorado and Texas, I spent my childhood years learning to appreciate the beauty of Nature in all of her forms. That appreciation has grown throughout my adult life, while I spent 20 years in Wyoming before moving to the Pacific Coast. After 30 years, I've returned to Amarillo, Texas, where the rugged beauty of West Texas and the High Plains provides plenty of inspiration.
My life experiences have been as varied as the landscapes of the places I've lived. I've worked in jobs that many people wouldn't consider and I've had some of the most comfortable positions a man could hope for. I've learned from the best and done my best to pass the knowledge on. Through it all, my greatest personal satisfaction has come from creative effort.
I'm now a full-time freelance writer and photographer and although times have often been lean, I'm certain I'm finally doing what I was meant to do. I hope that some of the love I have for the beauty of this planet that we call ours manages to come through in the work displayed here.
I'm a father, stepfather and grandfather and those are my greatest accomplishments.
