Growing up in North Carolina , I have been offered a vast natural landscape to dream and imagine. Mountains to sea provides a pastel paper landscape and with pastels, I feel as if I am blended into the construction and layering of unknown dimension of color. Mixing acrylic with chalk is challenging and thrilling. I enjoy sailing and flying because it puts me in the throes of water and sky. The most captivating moments are seeing water, sky, clouds, and a lost horizon, and never really sure which is which, exploring their conversations melting into one...more
