Photography for me is a different way of looking at the world. With a camera I can capture fleeting moments in time that would be quickly forgotten. Teaching myself, I have been taking pictures since I was about 10 years old. Although life at times has taken me in different directions, sometimes for years at a time, I always end up back behind the lenses of a camera. Now a whole new world has opened up with the use of digital photography, and computer software. It's like being a kid again in a candy store. The impossible is possible, the imagination is unlimitless, The whole of your imagination is at your fingertips.
While I consider unaltered photography a field of it's own, I also find that all the new concepts and designs and ways of using photography are amazing and fun. All of my work does start with a photograph that I took, even if it is later enhanced or morphed into something unique and different.
Art is wonderful, fun and amazing, a great way of expressing ourselves no matter what the medium.
