Cornelius Dames (Len Dames) was born in Pietersburg(Polokwane) South Africa.   He has always been fascinated by nature and wildlife.   His love for photography started when he won a Landscape Photo Competition.   The winning photo was taken at the stunning coastal village, Gordonsbay. (Remarkable that he captured this photo with an average aim-shoot camera.)
