I have been a professional photographer-writer all of my adult life, and I have lived and worked in various national parks and wildlife refuges. It's an amazing life, and I have the photographs to prove it! While I lived in Maine, I began selling hand-painted black-and-white silver gelatin photographs and reproductions, then I moved into the digital realm, including digital enhancements. I call most of my hand-painted photographs 'paintings' because they go beyond the traditional light tint, and truly become more painting than photograph. My hand-painted originals are also available for purchase.
I also worked for seven years for the Department of Defense as a photographer/videographer and have many award-winning images of our Soldiers, Marines, and DOD Civilians in action.
