After retiring from full-time work I decided to return to an old passion--watercolor painting. I took some classes and did a lot of self-study and trial and error. Using the internet I came across several watercolor artists that I admired and purchased their books and DVDs. I also experimented with various application techniques and using texture to create interest and dimension.
I recently discovered the joy of painting with alcohol inks on yupo paper and this has become my new passion. I love the vivid colors of the inks and the magical way they flow and blend together. I have also recently began creating digital art.
