Charline Xia aspired to be a poet as a child, her eclectic career path has included working as a journalist/editor, Canadian lawyer and registered trademark agent, literary agent, translator and, last but not least, fine art and stock photographer and videographer.
Her artistic intent has never been a fixed concept. Rather, it evolves to reflect her conscious and subconscious mind to see and cope with her surroundings and challenges.
As a photographer, her wide-ranging body of work takes the viewer to places fondly remembered or perhaps only dreamed of. Triggering emotions and associations, her images are a conduit to inspiration and deeper meaning. The beauty and drama of this world are exquisitely captured in images charged by passion, artistic vision and dedication to perfection.

Charline has exhibited at the Steam Whistle Art Gallery and Gallery 44 in Toronto. Her photos and video's have widely been published tens of thousand times by major public and private entities including the United Nations, Parks Canada, Forbes, The Globe and Mail, Linux, Canadian Geographic magazine and many other global media outlets.
