I am a born again follower of my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. I have dedicated my life to serving Him and spreading the good news and the Glory of God. The proceeds from all of my sales and tithe of all my earnings go to Him and in Partnering with Convoy of Hope to feed the hungry and carry the good news to those in need around the world.
I live with my wife Delma in Prosser, Washington. We have three grown children and two grandchildren. I am now retired after over thirty years in the natural resources and environmental field. I am enjoying being able to devote more time to my hobby of landscape photography.
I was raised in Chillicothe, Ohio, in the beautiful hills of Southern Ohio, and graduated from Chillicothe High School in 1960. I loved to travel and explore the beautiful landscapes on my bicycle or on family trips. I received my BA in botany from Miami University then I moved to Corvallis, Oregon where I received a BS degree in forest management from Oregon State University. Delma and I met in Corvallis while I was a student there. Shortly after we were married I went into the Army and served for one year in Vietnam and just over a year at Ft. Hood, Texas.
I have had a rather diversified, yet rewarding, career. I have had the opportunity to work as a reforestation forester, tree improvement forester, soil conservation technician, AutoCAD mapping designer, in irrigation design and management, an environmental scientist, and security officer. We have lived in the small towns of Winlock in western Washington, Stevenson, Washington in the beautiful Columbia River Gorge, and now Prosser in the irrigated desert of central Washington.
I have had the opportunity to have traveled in 45 of the 50 states, including Hawaii.
I highly recommend reading these really interesting books that are available on my website,
Books on Creation vs. Evolution and Apologetics
For those interested in the geology of the Pacific Northwest, I have published my new book,
Ice Age Flood Tour
