I have been making pictures most of my life.   Initially for my own enjoyment and to share with family.   When I started in the newspaper business, I was a sales executive in the advertising department which didn’t have a photographer on staff.   My photographic ability was recognized and I began shooting advertising photos for special sections.   After leaving that newspaper, I again worked at another paper in the advertising department.   I was also asked to take cover photos which then led to assignments as a photo journalist.   Over the years, I...more
