Art is something that has fascinated me since I was a little girl. When I was maybe about eight or nine, my dad saw me drawing one time, and then the next day my parents had signed me up for art classes. Those lessons have allowed my artistic talent to grow over the years, and I am grateful to have had a chance to discover this talent at such a young age. For a few years I was only accustomed to drawing with pencils, and occasionally colored pencils. Later on I started experimenting more with painting. I have enjoyed using acrylic paints for many years. I still enjoy using pencils and acrylics but I have also been stepping out with other mediums as well such as graphite pencils, soft and oil pastels, and watercolors. I love drawing and painting landscapes, seascapes, flowers, and other sights in nature. Photography is another hobby of mine that I have been doing for years.
Being a Christian, I prefer to see the beauty in everything that god created, which is the inspiration for both my art work and my photographs. Painting, drawing, or photographing the beauty that I see in the world is how I prefer to live and being able to share with others makes it even better for me. Recently I have been getting into illustration as well and I hope to be successful in that area as well. Making a career out of my art and photography has always been a goal of mine and I am glad to have the opportunity to turn that goal into a reality.
