Celeste is a New Mexico artist, painting in oils and acrylics. Her most recent work include acrylic pour and acrylic pour abstracts, landscapes, or florals. These new originals are priced to sell. Be sure to check them out under the Collections tab and help her support her art.
A lifelong student, she paints lines and colors that fascinate the eye. She enjoys realism but also enhanced coloration for artistic intrigue. Occasionally, animals or people find their way into her artwork. The ability to paint in thick strokes, sometimes with a palette knife, delights her as adding another dimension to a painting. Celeste's favorite artists are Vincent Van Gogh, Paul Cezanne, J. M. W. Turner, and modern-day artists Yuri Kutnezov and Brad Smith. Her works have been shown in public and private displays in the Albuquerque area. She teaches oil painting classes emphasizing color planning, paint strokes, and composition.
