Hi! My name is Catherine Leis, and I am an artistic soul stuck in an engineer’s body. I love trying to see things in new and unique ways, and then trying to make it so that other people can see that way too! Thus a new photographer was created. Born and raised in Pittsburgh, I decided to make the huge step to move the entire width of Pennsylvania in order to attend college in Philadelphia. Since then I have been blessed with the ability to travel around Europe and the United States, and have brought my camera with me every step of the way. From the beaches of California to the Alps in Switzerland, I love photographing the great range of scenery that the wonderful world can offer. In addition, I also enjoy taking macro photos and making small things appear larger than life. I have loved each and every journey that has led to my portfolio, and hope that you are able to take that journey with me as well!
