Astronomy and Our Home Galaxy The Milky way
Yet another love of mine; our home galaxy, the Milky Way. I live where I can see her every time I step out the door if the moon is slender. I hold a special place in my heart for our galaxy, stars and nearby planets. I own all kinds of telescopes and attend astronomy conferences and star parties out of shear passion for knowledge. I've done both plain DSLR and pinhole images of the stars. Someday I will own an LX-200 telescope with photographic capability when I can afford it! I'm an activist for dark skies in rural areas.
