I am from the beautiful twin Island Republic of Trinidad and Tobago in the Caribbean. I am often found drawing on any material that is close at hand during my spare time and taking photographs of anything I can everywhere that I go on outings and trips. I try to showcase through my artwork, the wonder and beauty that is found all around me. I love and am grateful for life every day, and I try to capture my love of nature, beaches, animals, books and Christmas through my art.
My mediums are acrylic, watercolour, pencil, chalk pastels, oil, pen and ink. I also create and am self-taught in digital artworks using the adobe suite of programs and enjoy taking photographs of anything that captures my eye and can often be found in my garden on the ground or climbing a ladder to capture a moment on camera. I am the mother of two teenage boys who has encouraged me on this path to showcase my art.
Art truly feeds my soul; my emotions, a part of me is seen through the colours and mediums that I use to create each piece. I was introduced to art in its various forms during my secondary school years at Holy Name Convent through Ms Patricia Akien and my love of art in all its forms has endured.
