This journey of drawing is very interesting.   I started out drawing using graphite (pencil), then used charcoal where I was able to get even darker shades.   Then I tried with white charcoal, I am really liking the results.   It is amazing how many shades I can create with the white charcoal.   I like drawing animals because of the many textures they have from skin, feathers, to long hair.   Have drawn several portraits also, that too has been interesting, from baby like skin to wrinkles that show maturity and wisdom.   One of my still life drawings...more
