I Was born in Hollywood, California, growing up in Laurel Canyon during the 1940's and 1950's. It was endless exploring, climbing, adventuring. 'Huckleberry fun'. A career in motion pictures and television later filled me with unforgettable experiences. Yet the most indelible episodes of my life have come from personal travels with my camera in the wilderness of western U.S. and canada. There i feel energy, peace, and a fullfillness of soul I encounter no where else. Each trail is revealed in it's own time and own way, a fresh surprise truly around every bend. The limitless wonder, beauty, and magic of the nature world forever amazes and delights me.
I do not pose any photos, nor do I know or use Photoshop. I prefer my pictures to look as close to the way i see them first hand. I do not want to distort the images in my memory of the moment. Nature is magical enough on its own.
