I have been illustrating automobiles, aircraft as long as I can remember, from early childhood, on left-over newsprint my grandfather used to give me from the ends of rolls of unused newspaper from his employment at a local newspaper.   Over the years, I found the medium of color pencils that I liked best for illustrating anything, and have since adopted it as my standard instrument in illustration.   I love the effects I can achieve with the color pencils, and sometimes I add a touch of acrylic paint for highlights and or marker ink pens as well.   Sometimes I actually use 'mat board' along...more
