'I have been inspired by the images and writings of artists like Ansel Adams, Art Wolfe and Galen Rowell, and impressive photographs in publications like National Geographic and Smithsonian.   They've inspired me to view the world differently and take notice of details that are often overlooked.   Studying a subject through the camera lens, the inside of a wildflower or the antennas of a butterfly, reveals the complexity of parts that make up a whole.   It adds new dimension to the world I live in and that's something I enjoy sharing.'
