Growing up as a young girl in New Jersey, I learned to draw at a young age, my mother inspired me, I loved watching her draw. Drawing was my passion until my father took an interest in photography, and his love for photography inspired me. I loved the idea that you could freeze a moment in time. I bought my first 35mm film camera at the age of 14, I took pictures of everything. One morning I was sitting in my vehicle on the side of the road, next to the Indian River and I looked over and saw the most beautiful Florida sunrise, I pulled out my digital camera and captured it. That was the start of my love affair with Florida.
I started out shooting film (both slide and print) using both Minolta and Canon cameras and eventually moved into the Digital age in the early 2000's. My first digital camera was a 1.2 Megapixel Sony camera that recorded on floppy disk. Today I shoot with both Canon and Nikon DSLR cameras with multiple pixels.
I have been all over the State of Florida, and try to capture the beauty that God created, to share with others. The skies are an ever changing canvas where I compose my images. So, sit back with one of those umbrella drinks from the Tiki bar and imagine the world through my eyes...
I have had several life changing events in past few years. My story continues and I continue to record the beauty I see, there is beauty in everything if you look.
