Bio history:
Bonnie Follett is an artist and photographer living in San Francisco. Born and raised in North Dakota, she obtained a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree at Minnesota State University in Mankato, MN.
Her art education began when her parents enrolled Bonnie in the Art Instruction Schools as a child. This was a home study 'Draw Me' school that advertised frequently in the magazines of the time. She continued her interest in art during her college years, majoring in fine art, photography and printmaking.
Not long after completing her college BFA degree, Bonnie moved to San Francisco, and continued her art education by taking photography classes, figure drawing classes, printmaking (lithography) classes, and painted in acrylics and watercolors at home between jobs in the legal field.
As Bonnie noticed the artistic world changing and evolving over the years, she moved into more digitally oriented creative pursuits. She taught herself web design and photo retouching while the internet age was starting to bloom in the 1990's. She continued to work full time in the legal field. In recent years Bonnie has studied at San Francisco State University's Multimedia Studies Program to further her digital design skills.
Currently Bonnie enjoys the art of Photo Painting, where her photographs are turned into digital works of art through various photo manipulation techniques, and are perfect for printing through Fine Art America as canvas art, framed prints, greeting cards, and more. These are all highly customizable through FAA's dialog boxes on the product pages.
