My name is Blake Morgan, I am a 62 year old native of Atlanta, Georgia.   On a trip to Colorado in 1996 with a group of friends I felt left out, everyone was shooting with DSLR’s, while I was shooting with a point and shoot.   After seeing their pictures compared to mine, I was disappointed and was determined to have a DSLR before another vacation.   For Christmas, I got an entry level Canon Rebel EOS film camera.   I put it in automatic mode in most situations and never learned enough to move beyond auto and when I tried, I was missing shots and wasting money on film and...more
