Betty was born in 1927 in Harmony Mississippi, a small farming community.   She grew up on a 300 acre farm with her 2 sisters and one brother.   Her father Frank Ball worked in the fields, growing cotton and they had large Orchards.   The proceeds of the farm fed the family.   They canned fruits and vegetables, dried meat and raised chickens.   They were one of the first families to acquire gas lights.   Betty started painting in the early 1980's, she took a few classes but was mostly self taught.   Betty lived in Mississippi and...more
