Photography has always been my passion. After moving to Alaska 18 years ago, my passion for photography was fueled even more. There are so many beautiful places and things to see. Up until 2004, I had only ever owned point-and-shoot cameras (film and then digital). I decided to buy my first digital SLR and decided to learn as much as I could.
I feel very fortunate to live in such a beautiful state. It definitely feeds my passion and gives me an excuse to just go anywhere I decide to go. Hiking provides many photo opportunities, from landscapes to macros. I love sharing the beautiful things I see through my photography. I hope you enjoy seeing Alaska through my eyes as well.
