Berdine Beckett - from attorney to coach to artist, the journey to herself took some interesting turns. From growing up in a small town, Newcastle in Kwa-Zulu Natal, South Africa, to teaching English in Taiwan and making a turn in London, Berdine now lives in Johannesburg where she activates the potential in organisations and individuals as an Executive Strengths Coach. Berdine is passionate about empowering women and her own explorative journey to herself has opened up her heart to become a ‘Woman of Strength’ herself. Her art tells the stories of the courage it takes to go against the norm, dream bigger than what most people deem possible but most of all it captures the courage it takes to be vulnerable, to be seen completely and to find the beauty in the imperfections as we become leaders in our own right. Berdine asks the question: “Who am I?” as she reclaims a piece of her passion, her heart, her bravery, her confidence and her tenacity through the eyes of each of her subjects.
