The inspiration for my work is the small pieces of beauty I find in my everyday life.   I find endless ideas in my garden and flowers , the scenic beauty of Williamson county, the peaceful Harpeth River, and my family memories.   All of my works are narratives that involve personal symbolism, although to the casual observer they may simply appear to be traditional depictions of everyday scenes.   Art has been my driving force since I first picked up a crayon as a little girl, and I feel blessed to have spent my life making stuff, drawing, and playing with paint.   In particular, the...more
