I was born in 1965 in Mosul, northern Iraq.
I have studied architecture and practiced the profession for years and certainly drawing is the main tool of the profession, but the profession of architectural design remains a profession restricted by strict rules and regulations, with adherence to financial and technical obligations and binding planning controls by official bodies.
However, what motivates the architect to practice drawing as an independent art, even though he practices architectural drawing (manual or digital) all the time?
The reality of the plastic arts indicates that the performance in the fine artwork is a discovery and continuous change in the formulation of the artwork, and a continuous discovery of the visual capabilities of what can be produced in the studio, and not being bound by postulates or artistic or aesthetic concepts, as the modern plastic arts are in constant development In the discovery of expressive methods and methods for different objects.
Therefore, plastic drawing, whether planning or coloring, is a spiritual haven for me for free expression. Artistic drawing requires creativity and honesty without a doubt, but with some literal rules, in addition to some rationality and a lot of madness and rebellion.
In my work, I often look at spaces, as the profession draws me to this matter, and I hope that one day I will be able to look deeper into the essence of expressive independent things.
