Asia Gurova, born September 15, 1991, in Nikolaev, Ukraine, in a small family.   When I was in high school I took a great interest in drawing, copying illustrations and reproductions of books.   My grandfather, a hereditary Cossack, who spent all his childhood years near the Azov Sea (Kuban), constantly shared his life stories and supported them with his paintings.   Seascapes, churning waters, light breezes, bright enveloping sky, Cossack battles, hunting trips, a riot of colors and a variety of strokes, constantly accompanied me in my childhood.   It was my grandfather who became...more
