A lot of my art is inspired by thoughts about the world within and the world without. There isn't anything much I do which serves purely for decorative purposes. This may be a fault in this less-than-earnest age but perhaps there is a little room for everyone in the world of art, including people like me! Some of the following quotes give a flavour of the sorts of things I might think about when I do art.
