Toly ak started off as a comic book artist for a company from Australia based in bc worked his way up to indie production designer before receiving grants to direct his own films like streaks in the mirror(nfb) & goin ape(calq) he remains an established Canada council film maker but due to lack of enthusiasm in terms of funding, funds himself through visuals and sound-photo, paint,writing and music.
