I grew up in rural Warren County Ohio in a little place along the Little Miami river called Fosters Ohio. Growing up along the river I rode my horse along what is now called the Loveland Ohio Bike Trail. At that time it was an abandoned Marietta and Cincinnati Railroad Track. Fishing and horseback riding along the river as a child nurtured my love for nature. Miles and miles of railroad track linked me to some of the most beautiful farmland in the area. From Harry Andrew's man made castle Château Laroche in Loveland Park to the open fields and farm towards Morrow I roamed hillsides and riverbeds in search of adventure. There are not many kids that could lay claim to the privilege of riding up the river to tie your horse off at a real Castle and visit a knight. Along the way was Camp Butterworth Girl Scout camp, Peters Cartridge Company and many other historical remnants of a bygone era. Quite a few of my photographs are taken from my childhood stomping grounds as well and other parts of Ohio, Kentucky and Tennessee. Anywhere I go I have my camera as I capture the places and people I meet along the way. I hope you like what you see and come back often.
