Artist / Photographer. I'll photograph anything I think is beautiful or interesting to look at using my mind's artistic eye. I've been shooting for about sixteen plus years with a few Nikon DSLR's. I live in Ronkonkoma Long Island and have access to many beautiful places here, including New York City and upstate New York.
The oceans, seashore, bays, lakes, ponds, rivers, woodlands, wildlife refuges, parks and local farmlands of Long Island offer many opportunities for a photographer to take advantage of. Of course, I've had my camera on many trips outside the area and the U.S. itself and have captured a wide range of interesting subjects in a very eclectic mix. Since I have a large, diverse collection, I've put many of them in special Gallery Albums here on FAA.
I started doing events and portrait work about fifteen years ago and some of my work has been in Fashion Charity Events and National Beauty contests like Miss USA and Miss Long Island, Wounded Warriors, Pink Tie (Men Against Cancer) Event and many other charity events. Some of my work has been published on the Web and some in Long Island magazines. A recent commissioned Fall Fashion shoot of mine was published in 'ustyleu.com' magazine, an online and print publication which is an associate of the 'Glamour' and 'Ebony' magazine group. I haven't done much of that type of work since I retired from my main work.
