'My research in art consists in the exploration of human and nature's beauty. Paying tribute to the classical canons of the past, I am inspired by the nowadays reality, which then I represent in my paintings and drawings. This way of research sometimes leads me to destructional and cut-off compositional solutions. I am constantly rethinking what 'beauty' means today, especially being interested in the woman's body and style. Sometimes, I focus on just one particular aspect, like lighting or a sensation, so that the whole process of accomplishing an artwork becomes subordinated to this particular, impressionistic goal.'
