New York born, Amber Chiang, singer/songwriter, piano/voice instructor, always knew she wanted to spend her life doing music and art. With a Bachelor of Music Education degree from the University of Massachusetts, she has appeared around the world as a soloist singing jazz and pop. Being of Chinese descent, her passion for art took the form of Chinese brush painting. There are quite a few artists in the family. She has always had an affinity towards the arts, music and painting, and started studying art at an early age. She especially loves the water color medium. All the paintings are painted on either rice paper or silk in the traditional manner using Chinese brushes and watercolor and mounted and framed professionally. These are a few of her paintings.
