My name is Alyssa Ann Parsons, and I was born and raised in Las Cruces, New Mexico.   As a kid I loved to browse through bookstores—partly to find new reads, but most mostly to look at all the beautiful cover illustrations.   My early fascination with book covers never faded, and when I graduated from high school I decided to pursue that life-long love and study illustration.   For college I moved to Michigan to attend Kendall College of Art and Design and get a BFA in illustration.   While at Kendall my classes in figure painting and portraiture introduced me to the wonderful...more
