I'm a Western Maine landscape photographer and live in the small town of Strong between Farmington and Rangeley. I grew up on the coast of Downeast Maine and still love to visit and capture the little known or visit areas!

I have been passionate about photography since I was 14. I am privileged to capture the history of Maine and the stunning natural environment. I search for and enjoy chasing the light across the landscape or waiting for the light to change. My passion is to get out and explore back roads and get off the beaten path. There is nothing better than being alone on a mountain top with the light dancing across the landscape and the wind in your hair and the clouds form in the sky. I enjoy seeing what I can find new and have been out exploring with my camera for about 35 years, I enjoy photographing Maine's wonderful landscapes, wildlife, floral and fauna, lighthouses, quaint harbors, beautiful rocky coastline, mountains, things that are old and rusty or abandoned. I like to photograph farms I am drawn to the barns, equipment and barnyard animals. I also enjoy macro photography and do so in my garden our where ever I see something. Living in the mountains of Maine is different than on the coast and I do enjoy watching the light move across the hills. Visiting our waterfalls and mountain streams!
I also do like to manipulate some of my images for an old feel and love to create black and white images, and I dabble in HDR images on occasion. I use Photoshop, Lightroom, and Photomatix Pro, and Perfect Effects.

I live in an beautiful 1860 historic cape on top of a hill with my husband, dog, and cat. We enjoy the sunrises and the sunsets from our little slice of heaven overlooking the valley and Western foothills.
