I am a 62-year-old photographer, N.F.T. artist and digital artist, living in Kelowna, British Columbia, Canada. I was born an raised on Vancouver Island. I have been doing photography since the day I was given my first Kodak Instamatic. I picked up digital art and photo editing about 10 years ago and now spend as much time on the computer as I do the Camera. I am a dedicated Canon fan, and currently use the canon EOS RP as my main camera. I have a wonderfully supportive wife who goes with me on these adventures, and truth be told she drives me to be the best I can be. I am fortunate to have the time to dedicate to this adventure spending most days seeking out great locations or taking photos, and all my spare time editing, creating, or critiquing my work. My camera goes everywhere with me. I never want to miss an opportunity to capture the perfect shot, whether it be a flower in someone’s garden or a beautiful vista. My interests are many, and I find beauty in so many things. The camera captures and reveals so many wonderful things of this world that are so often never seen, as life has become too busy for us to pay attention. Whether it be the intricacies of a flower, or a bee photographed in Macro, the beauty of everyday life in the city, or a panoramic vista. The camera freezes that moment in time, never to be forgotten.
I have also been until recently selling my work on the NFT marketplace, and I have been fortunate enough to have my photos collected as well featured at NFT live events. Most recently in Vancouver.
My hope is that you find something in my art that gives you pause, makes you smile, or in some small way makes your world a better place.
