I grew up in the small town of Shepherd, Montana, tending to horses, goats, sheep and whatever else was in our menagerie of animals. I graduated from Eastern Montana College in Billings with a degree in Information Systems. I spent the next 17 years writing business software. After getting tired and frustrated of the mouse race, I hung up the keyboard and became a fly fishing guide on the Bighorn River. I achieved my lifelong dream of becoming a professional goof-off.
