I thank God I get to create art it gives me a lot of pleasure and I hope you enjoy my paintings.   My name is Mark Daniel McLaughlin, I sign my name Mark Daniel because no one can pronounce McLaughlin.   I was born before the internet in a black and white world, the newspaper was black and white, so was TV and opinion.   I think that is why comics like Asterix, TIn Tin and Disney had such a big impact on me.   My current work is expressive and colourful characters with a lot of pattern and is partly nostalgia for those times.   Another side of my work is the influence...more
