Art has always been part of my existence, whether creating junk sculptures as a kid in St.   Louis or working as an art therapist with people who have suffered a stroke or traumatic brain injury, as I do now.   I earned my B.F.A. from the University of Notre Dame, and my M.A. in Art Therapy from George Washington University....awhile ago!   Creating art in addition to my work as an art therapist is a way to continue spending lots of time at home in Arlington, Virginia, with my three kids and our beloved pets.
