.Where I lived has always greatly influenced my art.   I was raised in Clearfield, Pennsylvania and grew up in farm country.   Walking in the fields and forests, as well as being around animals gave me a great love for the outdoors.   Living near New York City for several years and then living for a much longer time on the Navajo Indian reservation in Arizona and New Mexico provided other strong influences.   I now live in Fort Smith, Arkansas where I am learning more about the South.   My philosophy of art is that any art that I enjoy making and others enjoy looking...more
