Linda Goodman -- Realistic artist and photographer from rural Ohio who loves using my paintings and photos to bring joy to others. I have had additional training in painting from North Light Art School; and in photography at Shaw Academy and currently my work is in 40 states and four countries.
PAINTINGS: I do commissions of landscapes, animals and pets, homes, and others for individuals and companies that include: United Kennel Club, Buckeye Feed Mills, Ohio Spring Holstein Show, National Beagle Association and more. I currently teach acrylic classes, also. It was my honor to be chosen to be one of six artists licensed by the State of Ohio to paint and have prints made of the Bicentennial Barns-- 13 were featured in my work.
PHOTOGRAPHS: My photographs were featured in Amish Heartland magazine, Heart of Ohio Magazine, Mohican Magazine; on Lake Erie Shores and Islands website; Ashland Visitor's Bureau flyers; Loudonville-Mohican Convention and Visitor's Bureau flyers; calendars; and several websites. I took photos of Ashland BalloonFest for 12 years and was on most of their advertisements. My largest photo accomplishment were two photo murals in Ashland that each measured 24 X 30 feet of hot air balloons in flight. That mural is now on a CD cover, also.
AWARDS & EXHIBITS: My work has been featured for both painting and photography in many art shows including the Annual All-Ohio Juried Art Exhibit-- five time participant; Ohio State Fair-- Cox Fine Arts for both photos and paintings; Equestrians' Equine Juried Art Show, Art Cellar Gallery; Wings and Talons Art Show; Carrousel Festival of the Arts; High Road Gallery; AU Coburn Art Show; Main St. Gallery; Woodland Gallery; Schoolhouse Gallery; and more. I was featured in many one-man shows including O.D.OT. for three years. Currently I am in The Copper Top Gallery in Loudonville, Ohio, and Kingwood Center Gardens gift shop.
