LOOK FOR ME ON ETSY AS GREG COX ART
Born and raised on a 350 acre ranch in rural Minnesota till I was 11. We moved to Wyoming when my dad was transferred with his job. My parents separated and my mom moved to Colorado and my dad to Texas. I spent the next few years going back and forth to both states until I graduated high school. Art in school was always my favorite subject.
At age 20 I moved back to Minnesota to help take care of my dad who was ill with cancer. He passed away when I was 21. My stepmom and I sold the farm and I moved back to Colorado. I attended school for drafting and graduated in 1993.
I have been painting ever since high school and finally decided to start selling my paintings this year. Having had success selling them in a small caf� I decided to try a bigger market with fine art America. My biggest inspiration has been my grandmother. She was also a painter and quilter.
I enjoy snowboarding and the beach. A lot of my paintings are influenced by my travels with my wife.
