When I was a teenager I obsessed over color pencils and mazes and monsters -- tinkering and doodling. A focus on detail and its limitless impossibility. Never good enough it seemed...
I was introduced to paint at 16 and found the imperfections that it offers simply gratifying. ...No longer did I need to control every mark.
My love of letting the paint be itself is evident in my paintings-- Perfection and imperfection. Bold colors and strokes dance large and small across the canvas-- splashes and drips. They often are left just as they are. Accepted. Admired. Loved. ... Isn't that what we all want, anyway?
I plan to continue exploring this venture in Art and mishaps. Always moving forward, learning through every step.
