Tom and Scott, two self taught (and learning everyday!) photographers live on the tip of Michigan's Keweenaw peninsula, a 45 mile spit of ancient rock surrounded by the majesty of Lake Superior.   Scoured clean by the last ice age, the Keweenaw is a geologic and nature lover's paradise, exposing 1.1 billion year old layers of basalt, conglomerate, and sandstones, covered by a thin layer of stony soil that supports a diverse boreal flora and fauna.   Lake Superior provides the backdrop to this enchanted corner of the world, her moods dictating the rhythm of the peninsula, calm and serene with gentle lake breezes,...more
