I am Yao, a Montreal-based artist. I pursued arts in university, Film Animation major. However later on I took many turns to come back to the creative field, with a constant struggle between art-making and home-making, like many woman artists out there. :)) I work with both traditional mediums and digital software (free-hand painting on digital canvas). My interest is to create works that explore both simplicity and potentials, allowing the subjects to speak loudly even they have a very small voice in this deep wide world. more
