I have been a working photographer for over sixty five years; and tough this is my main medium, I have been drawing all my life.As a little boy my parents use to take me to our local zoo, I would sketch the animals in their cagesOne day this lady was watching me and when I was done doing my sketch she said Could you do a picture of me?I don't remember if I did anything close to what she looked like , but she paid me two dollars for the picture.I do remember that my mom was teary eyed and smiling at me, and I know I made my parents very proud.So this is how it all started.
